About this listen
Tyler didn’t set out to break my heart....
But life doesn’t give marks for good intentions.
Now, I’ll stop at nothing to achieve my dreams. I’m done playing by anyone else’s rules.
But when Tyler shows up in the last place I expect, with secrets and a confession...there will be a reckoning.
Because the naïve girl he shattered is gone.
And the woman in her place is ready for a fight.
A Love Song for Rebels is book two in the angsty new-adult, academy-inspired Rivals trilogy and should be listened to following A Love Song for Liars (Rivals, Book One).
Fans of bully, academy, enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, and rock-star romance will love this new series!

Loved!!
I have absolutely adored this series!!! I have been blown away by Annie and Tyler and Piper Lawson's beautiful writing. You must read book 1, A Love Song for Liar first!
Rebels picks up about a year later from where Liars ended, Annie and Tyler are both attending a performing arts college in New York. I loved Annie not instantly forgiving Tyler even though she is drawn to him and the chemistry is still strong. I appreciated the character growth in book 2 and Tyler having to prove himself. Annie and Tyler discover they are most content when they are in each other lives. Rekindling their relationship and really shining together made me so happy. Wonderful and intriguing side characters, I hope there will be more of Beck and Rae in the future plus, I truly need Jax Jamieson to be redeemed and to come around with supporting Annie and Tyler's relationship. Fingers crossed the next two books deliver!! This ended on a huge anticipated cliffhanger, can't wait to continue the next book, as the series is complete.
Narrators - Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro - crushed it again with fantastic narrations and really brought out the emotions of Annie and Tyler.

Excellent character growth and lots of emotion!
A Love Song for Rebels is book two In the Rivals series and is the continuation of the friends to lovers, rockstar romance story of Annie and Tyler.
This book picks up a few months after the first book ended and sees Annie and Tyler come back together. Annie must learn to trust him again while Tyler must come to terms with what he has done. Their connection runs deep and overflows with emotion and their friendship is always at the forefront of their relationship.
Annie and Tyler are both attending the same performing arts college in New York, Annie is hiding the fact she is attending school in New York from her rock god father Jax Jamieson. He thinks she’s studying in Columbia; Annie wants to make her mark at school and prove to her dad she is just as worthy as Tyler to be in the music business.
The growth in these characters from the first book is incredible and the cast of secondary characters are a welcome addition and add value to an already amazing story.
Rose Dioro and Teddy Hamiliton reprise their roles as Annie and Tyler and has me captivated from start to finish. I felt every emotion in their performances and was once again left wanting more. I love this pairing; they are fabulous together.
What an incredible sequel to what is shaping up to be a magnificent series, I can’t wait to see how Annie and Tyler’s story concludes.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Amazing Series!
Piper Lawson continues to wow me with the second book in her “Rivals” series, a continuation of Tyler and Annie’s story, so be sure to start the series with the first book, “A Love Song for Liars”. This book, like the first, grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. We watched Tyler crush Annie’s heart in the first book, but fate is not done with these two and they find themselves in each other’s lives again. Annie attended the college she auditioned despite knowing Tyler was in the same school, she figured it was big enough and they probably would not cross paths, right? Going to this school is a great opportunity for her and it is something she wants to pursue even without her father’s support. What he does not know can not hurt him, right? Wrong on both accounts, the school may be large, but those who are majoring in the same field cross paths frequently and it does not take long for them to wind up back in each other’s life. Tyler realizes how much of a mistake he made leaving when and how he did, he wants to make things right, but will Annie let him? Annie grew up so much in the time he had not seen her, but he still sees her old sweet self within her. These two were great together and for each other, they made a great team and beautiful music together. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is a wonderfully written and plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a romance that was years in the making. That ending, oh my, you are mean Piper Lawson, but I am looking forward to what happens next. Thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧 📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters and their story to life. Their understanding and portrayal of these characters is spot on and I am loving how they re taking each role and making it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and have you feeling every single one. These wonderfully talented narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

I Am Screaming For Book Three!!
A Love Song for Rebels picks up right where A Love Song for Liars ended. Annie is fully pursuing her dreams, regardless of what anyone thinks.
I loved her determination and ambition. There’s more revealed about Tyler’s past and hits you right in the feels. Annie and Tyler unexpectedly end up at the same school and soon it becomes harder to deny those feelings that summer beneath. Piper Lawson delivered some delicious sexual tension and when these two finally gave in to their feelings and desire for each other, phew holy hotness! I’m loving their story and that cliff had me screaming! Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro were amazing and took this beautiful story to a new level.

Good listen!
Piper is still fairly new to me. This is my first series by her and I am loving her work so far! Annie and Tyler are older than they were in the previous book and so much more is going on for them. This book was full of emotion and heartache, heat and passion. I couldn't get enough. The authors ability to create a story in your mind and developed these characters throughout the book blows my mind. Tyler is one sexy mother f*cker and this book was full of heat!
4.5 Stars!

I need more!
A Love Song for Rebels is the second installment in the Rivals series, a second generation series, and rock star romance. Annie and Tyler's story continues where the first installment left off. The storyline is engaging and entertaining, filled with angst, and twists and turns. The story ends with a big cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. Rose Dioro and Teddy Hamilton did an excellent job with the narration. #ValentinePR

The saga continues!
I could not wait to get my ears into this book. After the first installment, I needed to know what was going to happen next, and the outcome is not what I expected! Annie is off to college, but not where her father is anticipating. She is out to prove her talent, but what she finds is some unfinished business! Tyler is attending the same school but she has no intentions of giving him the time of day. Tyler has other plans. And just wait until Annie's dad realizes her ruse. A little angst, a healing heart, a lot of secrets and a surprise cliffhanger had me completely engaged in this story. Piper Lawson knows how to keep my attention and invest my heart in her stories, and now I can't wait for the conclusion of this trilogy to see how it all lands!
Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro continue their storytelling of Tyler and Annie. Hamilton plays Tyler with his heart on his sleeve and incredible passion, both for his music and Annie. Dioro creates Annie with a fierceness to prove her worth and gives her the softness to see Tyler for who he is. these two are making this an amazing series.
