Blood, Gore and lots of zombies
Don't get attached to characters and expect the unexpected
You will love and hate some things in this audio book collection.
The performance is very good considering how long this collection is. Characters always sound the same.

good but confusing
So many new and different characters are introduced so quickly and the story jumps hastily between these different groups that I never feel I have had enough time with any single person or group to even recognise their names when mentioned however the stories are very graphic and interesting regardless

Wow. This is no zombie series. This is humanity.
You have zombie books and then you have this. This book changes from people running away from zombies to a great analysis of humans at the core.
This is the best series I've listened to. It can be harsh, it can be warming, happy and downright depressing.
The author behind this book is a mastermind.

George Martin has nothing on Mr Brown
The most brutal amazing heart wrenching ZA book in existence is called Dead. By T W Brown. There are 12 books. And they will RIP you limb from limb. Cannot recommend this series enough.

Got a bad wrap but so glad I gave it a go
Others may have focussed more on some of the negatives in their previous reviews but I see those negatives as a potential reality in this apocalyptic situation so took it easy listening. I was hooked from the first book although I got attached to some characters which I’d advise do not do! It’s great that these books have been combined into one audio book, well worth a credit in my opinion! I’ve listened to a lot in this genre and this does not disappoint!

Excellent stories
I really liked the way the story rotates around a few different groups, some ending and new ones starting. You can not predict who will get a happy ending and who will get munched! Engaging characters and a solid ending for such a long series of books.
