Great story, brilliant narrator!
A very clever story, kept you guessing right until the end. A special mention for Georgia Maguire, brilliantly read with clear dictation & great accents. Highly recommended.

Cruelly realistic
As a survivor of 10 years with a narcissistic person, I can confirm that this is certainly not silly or unbelievable. The depths that such people go to to control others is very well portrayed. Grace is not weak or pathetic as noted in some other reviews...but I guess that until you've actually experienced this behaviour, you don't have enough information to comment with a balanced view.
Narration is excellent and the pace of the book keeps you gripped. It made uncomfortable listening for me as I recognised many scenarios.
I'll certainly be looking for this author and narrator again

A Gripping but Difficult Listen
Found it very hard to put this book down. However it was not an easy listen, especially as I tend to listen to my audiobooks at bedtime!
It is a horrific tale. Be warned.

Really good read
Started slow and initially thought the main character weak however really got going and I finished in 2 sessions. Great story and narration.

Totally gripping
This was an utterly gripping storyline full of menace, suffering survival and tense till the end! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a suspenseful story full of psychological twists and turns.

Brilliant Thriller
Just finished listening to "Behind closed doors ' By B.A Paris. An excellent thriller that I can promise you will keep you on the edge of your seat! Highly recommended.
