Love is just the beginning
We meet Connor and Ella right at the beginning of the series in Bite the Ice which I highly recommend before reading this.
Beneath the Ice is the 3rd full length story in the series. Ella and Connor are already in a relationship and this is their struggle to happily ever after.
When the world is at your feet everyone seems to have an idea of what you should do. Fate sometimes has other ideas. For better and or worse can these two make it work?
I really enjoyed the second instalment in their romance. Bite the Ice is sexy whereas this brings all the emotions.
Each book I’m this series is unique. Their stories are interlinked but can be read as standalones.
Beneath the Ice is full of angsty romance, love and struggles. I can’t get enough. Great series. Emotional addition.

I'm glad to be back at Lakeshore
I was so glad to be back with the Lakeshore guys and girls. I really enjoyed the previous book so was looking forward to Connor and Ella's story. The story is centered around them already being a couple and Connor striving towards going Pro with his love for ice hockey. His plans are derailed slightly when he sustains an injury on the ice which puts him out of action for a while to recover. During this time he moves back home and takes his frustration out on Ella. The story's turns from a love story to a relationship in trouble full of angst and drama. Connors dad is a real piece of work! I enjoyed the growth Ella and Connor had through the story and how Connor realises his mistakes and rectified them. I wish id read this series from the start as there have been a few references to Connor and Ellas rocky start that I havent read and would have probably benefitted from before reading this one.
It was great being back with the gang again and I'm looking forward to the next one.
I listened to the audio for this one and it was so good! It is dual narrated and read in duet which I absolutely love! Teddy and Stella make a great team when they narrate. It was a great listen.

Angsty!!
Beneath the Ice is a angsty, college, hockey romance and the third book in the Lakeshore U series. Connor and Ella were perfect for each other and their chemistry was off the charts. Their relationship was a rollercoaster of emotions and the HEA was so worth it.
This book is dual narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter. These two were the perfect narrators to bring Connor and Ella’s characters to life!

Such an emotional story!
This was such an emotional story! Connor is the fun loving guy, & his relationship with Ella is amazing. The chemistry and banter is great!
Everything seems perfect, the team has a shot of going all the way and winning the frozen four, Connor & Ella are in love, but when tragedy strikes, can they overcome the odds and fight for the future they have dreamed of?
This was full of all the shenanigans you expect for our Lakeshore U crew, but it was also full of friendship & love & healing.
The narration was perfect!
