Demons exist and live hidden along side humans in the everyday world.
Dalia the protagonist is a strong willed character fighting the strictures of her races culture and hierarchy.

Really enjoyed this book. Usually I like vamps shifters etc but this was included in my membership so I thought I would try it. Characters are easy to like and plot twists are great. I will be ordering book 2 when they make it an audio version.

4,5⭐, great audiobook with an amazing narration.
This paranormal romance is packed with action, mystery, some fun banter and a great world building. They are on earth and the author had a great take on demons and gods, the way she portraited this world's reality was pretty brilliant and I loved every minute of the story, cant wait for the next instalment as there is a ton we need to understand and many mysteries to solve.
The book is spice free and the romance is not the focus here at all. Still, the story is addicting.
The narration was excellent.

I liked the story, it had good pacing although sometimes it could be a bit slow. I think some of the characters are a bit one dimensional like the brothers and could be explored more except that they are overprotective. I feel like parts of the book dont make sense like that the females are supposed to be quite and not speak unless the male allows it but the mother didnt conform to any of these expectations even though she was one of the top people?, this was never explained and the decision making by the character seemed kind of stupid at times where she could simply speak to people and use the resources she had but for the story she didn’t and had to be saved anyway. It was enjoyable but these things did take away from the experience.
