About this listen

History always repeats itself, or does it? Could you change your past? Relive the 70s, 80s and 90s in this witty and gripping time travel series. Evoke the memories and discover the mystery.

Eighteen years have elapsed since Jason Apsley grabbed his second chance after time traveling forty-two years into the past. It's now 1994, and those time-travelling calamitous years of the late 70s and 80s are now a distant memory. Life is perfect or is it? Jason's worst nightmare becomes a reality when a mysterious letter appears, suggesting his immediate future may not be as rosy as expected. As the chaos ensues, an inquisitive journalist and DCI French close in on the truth about his past. Will time repeat itself, or can Jason, once again, alter the future?

If you like time travel, entwined with mystery and humour, you'll love the fast-paced time travel series by Adrian Cousins.

the end

an excellent finish to an unusual series. it wound up all the loose ends and put a finish on them. this has been a most unusual series, a new spin on time travel stories and full of twists and turns.

Another brilliant story

Loved this and again binge listened to get the most out of the story. Wonderfully brought to life by the readers who have a fantastic repertoire of voices. Well done!

Writing stood out but just a little long winded in parts

As always I thoroughly enjoyed the audiobook. The story was great and the characterisation always made me smile. I did feel that occasionally there was a little too much padding. But the action at the end certainly made up for it. I very much look forward to the next one in the series.

Loved it.. Again!

A great story and possible end to the series, the dual narration grated at the start but I soon got used to it. Highly recommend and it's now on to more of Mr Cousins work
