About this listen
Tristan
Charlie is everything I want and didn’t realize I need.
It’s clear to me now, the woman I met at the club is only one layer of the woman I’m falling for.
I’m a fixer by nature, but for the first time, I wouldn't fix a thing.
I want her just the way she is.
Broken pieces and all.
Who needs the fairy tale, when we can have the reality.
Charlie
Tristan is everything I want, yet don't deserve.
He’s loving, protective, smart, an amazing father, and he’s onto me.
That's why I need to speed this story up and tell him everything.
So we can flip to the end of the book, and he and his daughter can move on to the next story.
One where they get a happily-ever-after.
Because there’s no story I’m a part of that ends in any way but tragedy.

Beautiful Story & Listen🎧SwoonWorthy & Heartfelt!
Nikki Ash pens another winning romance novel set in her “Fighting Love” series and wow, not only did it captivate my attention for the entire book, but it tugged at my heartstrings, too. The characters in this book, and series, are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with and after meeting Tristan, who quickly became one of my favorite characters in the series, I was looking forward to his story and happily ever after. I am equally excited about Mason’s story, Tristan’s best friend and sidekick. Tristan had not had the best of luck in the love department, first he fell in love with Bella, who did not have the same affection and only saw him as a good friend. Then he gets involved with Gina, who loved her drugs more than him, but she gave him the love of her life, his daughter, Lexi. Charlie’s husband was abusive towards her and a cheat and she knew she had to get out of the marriage, especially when he aimed his anger at their daughter. She knew it would not be easy to leave him, so she needed to plan her escape carefully. Before she can get away, the unthinkable happens, and she loses everything, including her daughter. Heartbroken, she finally makes her escape, but she needed to stay off the radar so he could not track her down. She gets a job working in a strip club and that is where she first meets Tristan, who makes assumptions about her, ones she does not correct. Tristan knows he screwed up, and he gets to apologize when they run into each other again when he was with Lexi, who is absolutely adorable, and helps get Charlie out of her funk for a few minutes, Though she being reminded of what she lost, her and Lexi instantly click and bond over their love of art. It was great to watch Tristan and Charlie get to know each other, and I thought they were great together and for each other, Lexi included. Their story is a beautiful love story, a multi-layered story that has the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. I loved the twists and how it all played out, well done, very well done. Nikki Ash, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett did a superb job bringing these characters to life, understanding who they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting and was believable in every role they played. Frost’s Tristan was spot on, smooth worthy and all, Barrett was just as amazing in her role as Charlie, both grasping all aspects of their characters’ personalty and their every emotion. They were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too, including Lexi, with an adorable and youthful voice. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These two are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates this already amazing story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

This was such a beautiful story. I love how patient and kind and loving Tristian is. He is an amazing dad, and I adore how he puts Lexi first. I also adore how kind and caring and understanding he is with Charlie, he is observant and compassionate. I love the chemistry between Tristan and Charlie and their passion is amazing. This was a beautiful story about healing and growing.

what a cute family.
I thought this story might go a different way with the way Tapped Out ended, but I really enjoyed the flow of this and loved seeing Tristan get his HEA and his adorable daughter was a delight. Charlie was the exact kinda girl I hoped Tristan would end up with

Favourite in series
Tristan I couldn’t help but love. I loved him in the first generation and in the last generation I knew I couldn’t not love him in this one.
I loved how strong Charlie was and she was perfect match for Tristan. I noticed that when they where parents.
I loved the way their two kids came together and how the story unfolded. Love a happy ending.

Wow! I cried so so much!! The emotion in this book is off the charts. Nikki has captured the sorrow of this situation perfectly. As well as a heartfelt performance from both narrators. I must listen.

Tristan and Charlie!
OK, I confess. I cannot get enough Nikki Ash! Every book keeps me riveted and leaves me wanting for the next one! This is Tristan's book and after his heartache in Tapping Out, I couldn't wait to hear his true love story. After Bella moved back to Vegas, Tristan was depressed, and when he bumped into his ex, Gina, he ended up with more than a one night stand. Gina took off, leaving Tristan with Lexi, the new love of his life. Charlie has fled an abusive relationship after the death of her daughter. Carrying a huge weight on her shoulders, she has no intention of settling down or falling in love again. But Tristan has other ideas. She fits with him and Lexi perfectly, and there is nothing that will keep them apart. But the secrets she keeps may just be the end of them. What will happen? Ash had me from the start. Single dad, all the characters from the previous books, all the feels and the tragedies kept me riveted to the story. The love is real, and that is what always shines in her stories, whether it's from parents or siblings or friends. It always makes my heart happy and this one is no exception. Now I am left wanting to hear Mason's story!
Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett are the story tellers for this and wow is all I can say. Perfectly cast, Frost as Tristan is sweet and so protective, it's impossible not to love him. Barrett plays the guarded Charlie with that sound of wanting to let go but knowing she can't. These two are so good together that I listened straight through and enjoyed every minute!

Single Dad Romance
Clinched by Nikki Ash is a single dad romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett. This is the second book in the Fighting Love series.
I absolutely love Nikki's books. She does an amazing job taking me on an emotional rollercoaster in every one of her books.
I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Tristan and Charlie. I loved that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Takedown to be released on audio so I can get Mason and Mila's story.
Gideon and Marina did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for a single dad romance or contemporary romance.

He’s every girls dream *swoon*
I’m still fairly new to Nikki’s book but with each book I read I fall in love with her words even more. I love a good single dad romance and this one ticked all the right boxes.
Tristan is SWOONY. He’s every girls dream… He’s such a beautiful man and deserves everything happy in this world. Unfortunately, he’s been pretty unlucky in love and has had his heart broken a few times leading him jaded. After life took an unexpected turn, he was lost, left with loads of uncertainties, pushing him to drowning his sorrows in alcohol. One a very drunken night, he met a woman and got her pregnant and he became a father and ended up becoming a single father to a beautiful baby girl and having a daughter to look after, meant that she became priority number one and made him realise he needed to sort himself out. His dream was to find someone to fall in love with but he put that on the back burner… But when they say love comes when you least expect it… Well he was not expecting to meet Charlie and he certainly wasn’t expecting to fall in love with her.
After being emotionally, mentally and physically abused in her past, Charlie has a lot of demons she has to battle. She’s a broken and avoids any close relationships she could have with anyone after being burnt multiple times in the past and after going through so much loss, pain and trauma in her past. It’s just easier for her to keep herself closed off when it comes to her heart.
But when Tristan comes into her life, everything starts to change, there is a glimmer of light in her world of darkness and for the first time in a very long time she is hopefully for a happier future. It seems that Tristan is the right person to bring down these walls that she has up.
I was not expecting this book to be so emotional. It had me all in my feels. I laughed, I cried and I swooned like crazy throughout the book. I was obsessed and couldn’t stop listening to it! I couldn’t help but fall in love Tristan and Charlie love story. Charlie went through so much, my heart broke for her. She was so relatable for me and I was drawn to her.. Tristan was perfect for her and watching their relationship blossom and them get closer and seeing them get their happy ending like they deserved made my heart happy.
I loved this book so much! Highly recommend giving it a read! You won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing dual narration from Gideon Frost and Marina Barrett, wow.
Tristan is a single dad of a daughter Lexi, the love of his life. Charlie has fled an abusive relationship after the death of her daughter. The guilt is heavy and she has no intention of settling down or falling in love again. That is until Tristan. Even though these fit, but misunderstanding, and secrets can stop love and a family finding a new start.
