Summary
The forces of darkness are gathering, and only two men can stand in their way.
Jude Campbell can see demons. His psychiatric history says it’s all in his head, but he knows they’re out there. Watching. Waiting. Biding their time.
Dante Moretti is the half demon child that should never have been born. He might exorcize demons, but the dark urges from his demon side are growing stronger, and he knows the day will come when he’ll lose himself to them completely.
When Jude’s time runs out, Dante is tasked with keeping him alive. Jude might be temptation personified, but for Jude’s sake, Dante won’t give in. Only, being together is changing them, in ways neither could possibly hope to understand, and it’s no longer clear who is saving who.
Destiny has come calling. And love could be its prize.
Demon Inside is a 94k action/adventure paranormal MM novel. It features a demon king who can enter dreams, two flawed main characters who don’t have the happiest of backgrounds, a priest sidekick, secrets that go way back, and plenty of steam.
Content warnings: violence and murder, past mentions of sexual assault (not of the main characters), and mentions of psychiatric difficulties and medication use.

Another take on the demon story line
Jude, who can see demons, has been 'demonised' (sorry, couldn't resist) for his experiences, to the point of being commited to psychiatric care. Dante, half demon himself, is a target of demons. When Dante finds out that Jude's life is in danger, he tries to save him and they end up as reluctant (at first) partners in the fight against demons. It's a really interesting story, the 2 men are like oil and water, but they learn to get along and more as work together. I liked Rory, Dante's mentor and voice of reason.
A solid paranormal thriller with bits of humour, heat and romance (when they get out of each other's way).
I started the reading the story, but switched to the audiobook once I had the chance - glad I did. The narrator, Freddie Wills, is new to me. I thought he was very good. He had distinct voices for all of the main characters (loved how Jude and Rory sounded especially). Mr Wills also conveyed the MCs emotions, especially Jude's resignation with his mental health and his relief when proven right about demons, nuances I may not have gotten from reading alone.
Overall, really happy with the whole audio experience. HL Day writes good stories, and I hope Mr Wills does more narration.

Exciting supernatural
Loved the story and the characters.
Great chemistry between them.
The narrator did good job bringing the characters to life (although the Nicholas Lyndhurst intonation was a bit distracting at first!)

Destiny's Desire.
MM, Close Proximity, Opposites Attract, Paranormal, Romance. A standalone read/listen with a fast paced, action packed plot. Twists and turns throughout as this unlikely duo face demons and the changes that their close proximity to each other causes. A fantastic story that just flows seamlessly from beginning to end. Guaranteed HEA.

Must read
Really enjoyed this story. So much so as soon as I finished I went back and re listened. A few twists in it. Think the narrator is new to me too, he did an excellent job.

great supernatural romance
I say this every time I write a review for one of HL Day's books, audible or otherwise. What a tremendous, but underrated writer. I loved the blending of the real world and supernatural, the two MCs, Jude and Dante, were fantastic together. The main couple are like oil and water at first but their circumstances have brought them together unknowingly. The side characters, especially Rory, are good too, I really liked that he is pivotal to the storyline. A great read, I loved how Jude and Dante came together. They proved their mettle as a power couple and I’m such a sucker for epic love stories and this one fulfills it completely . Well written, great ending. the narrator captured the story well, and all the danger the MCs found themselves in. parts of the story are so emotional, I felt for them both. ......truly brought Jude and Dante alive.

Wonderful PNR romance
Poor Jude has spent his whole life being told he's crazy because he sees demons.
Dante is a demon who has plans for Jude simply as a means to an end.
That changes as they become embroiled in a plot that's wreaking havoc on the world.
As they slowly get to know one another, their relationship grows and becomes something much better.
There was plenty of chemistry between these two.
There was plenty of fast paced action, danger, drama and twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Freddi Wills did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.
