About this listen
Dr. Anarchy is a man with a simple dream: to conquer and rule the entire world. While he has yet to achieve his goal, he has managed to become absolute lord and master of one small corner of it. This is the story of what one man was able to achieve though hard work, dedication, careful planning, unhealthy obsession, giant robots, disintegrators, remote controlled grolem dolls, a horde of disposable henchmen, killbots, an annoying cyborg ninja, and 36 rules every supervillain should follow!

Skewering Marvel and DC is fun
Great fun book that points out all the silly inconsistencies that comic book stories have
The narrator is the perfect choice for the book, I loved every minute
well worth a listen

Funny & Original
Mad as a box of frogs but funny & enjoyable. This should definitely be made into a movie.

So close to being a jem
I really do like these types of stories as a break from the long series that I do tend to get involved with.
Okay let me say that the story is good, it has its moments where you want to laugh physically out loud. Doc's rules also a fun point and a few others but no spoilers here.
What i felt it lacked was a narrator giving it the jump it needs... While there is effort put into making changes for each character, at times it just felt a bit lacking... performance wise.
still well worth a listen, with a bit more of a punchy delivered narration I would have been happy to give this 5 stars.

Light hearted romp around world domination
Really enjoyed this. Is it a sci-fi classic, perhaps not. Is it funny and well written with engaging characters- yes. I looked forward to the opportunity to listen to this and was sad that it was a standalone novel and not a series.

Ridiculous and Brilliant
This is a fantastic parody of the superhero genre aimed squarely at the Batman, Marvel franchises. Brilliantly funny and the performance is outstanding. Loved it!

Good for a chuckle!
Some of the references were so funny! It was fun working out who and what the references alluded to.
In all, this book is a really good listen and well worth a credit, however, I got it free. I was surprised at just how good this book is and it well deserves 5 stars.
The narration was very good and well suited for the part he was playing. He sounds just like an evil genius should and was never over the top.

actually surprisingly good
I expect a lot from literary humour, I'm a tough audience. but this was surprisingly good. in a lot of ways, working at a call centre is like working for a super-villain, let's be honest, except maybe minus the weapons...
