About this listen

Kingdoms collide in Sarah J. Maas' epic fifth installment in the global best-selling Throne of Glass series.

The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those don't.

As the kingdoms of Erilea fracture around her, enemies must become allies if Aelin is to keep those she loves from falling to the dark forces poised to claim her world. With war looming on all horizons, the only chance for salvation lies in a desperate quest that may mark the end of everything Aelin holds dear.

Aelin's journey from assassin to queen has entranced millions across the globe, and this fifth installment will leave fans breathless. Will Aelin succeed in keeping her world from splintering, or will it all come crashing down?

Haven't been so engrossed in a series like this for a long time, I've laughed , cried and been on the edge my seat several the times, the narrator is absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to start the next one!

This is one series to keep, not only is it a fantastic display of creativity but it is so gripping. I would, however, recommend that parents wait till their teens are 16-18 before letting them listen to this book, the romantic sections are very heated and perhaps best not suited for 11-13 years olds.

Amazing

I really love this series, especialy from Heir of fire to the end, and I read it multiple times. As always I really enjoyed the story and the performance wasn’t bad, just… some of the characters sounded very different in my mind… For starters, every time Aelin is emotional, the person reading the book, makes her sound weepy and whiny. And the witches always sound wicked even when they are supossed to be hopeful and full of emotion and Ansel has some weird accent that makes me think of cowboys movies, it’s confusing…
Otherwise I really enjoyed it, the pacing was good.

Valid for Heir of fire and Queen of shadows

EoS is my favourite of the throne of glass series, Elizabeth Evans brings the story to life with her narration and I just adored this audiobook. I sobbed, I laughed, I loved.

The best book of the series (except you, kingdom of ash)

Can’t wait for the graphic audios this year. Performance is iconic far better than the Fourth Wing voice.

Love it!
