Jared exhibits some lowkey stalker-ish behaviour (in my opinion) and I'm still not fully understanding why Sarah agreed to go anywhere with him... BUT! Its a lightweight romance 🤷‍♀️ what more did I expect? 🤣

yes it's a HE, no surprise but enjoyable journey to the end, really good characters, does deal with some heartfelt issues well

Struggled to finish this, didn't feel like the narrators fit very well and it made it difficult to get into the story

adored this book, he was very frustrating due to past experiences and Sarah was so patient brave and loving with him ,.giving him.the courage to change.

Savannah and James did a great job bringing Jared and Sarah's story to life.

While I didn't particularly like Jared for a lot of the book, I really enjoyed Sarah as a character.
After the loss she has suffered, she has worked hard to provide for her family, so to see her taking something for herself was rewarding.

While Jared was generous, he was such a grump. I could understand why he went about things the way he did, after learning about his past, but still... such a grump!
You can't help but be drawn in by Candice, she is a gem.
Much like Sarah, she is almost the opposite of her brother and wears her heart on her sleeve.
Again, props to the group of friends for providing some much-needed perspective and all the drinks.

I can't wait to listen to Candice's story!
