A Firebird Book Award Winner 2022

When a mysterious threat is received at a government laboratory and a terrorist attack precipitates a multi-agency response, DCI Greg Geldard is called in to investigate. Great insight into Hate!

A captivating detective story with plenty of twists and turns and a fascinating exploration of the nature and ramifications of hate. It shows that hate is common, destructive, self-consuming and leads to no solution.

The story also demonstrates that if we were completely accepting of each other the world would be a lot happier place. Interestingly it states that freedom to express natural behaviour is one of the five conditions that animal handlers are obliged to provide to their animals. This results in happier and healthier animals that produce more milk and offspring. So out with hate, in with total acceptance and understanding!
