Summary
T1ghtBuns: I could knead the best bread you've ever eaten on those tight abs.
TopM4N: *snorts* you sure you're on the right app?
I’m a born romantic. He doesn’t believe in relationships.
Two things we agree on...together we are electric, and we want casual. We’re both best men at a wedding, and guess where the bachelor party is?
As they say, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...or does it? Waking up married to an unshakeable bachelor is one thing. Accidentally falling in love with him however, is what could get me into real trouble...
How to Catch a Bachelor is the fourth book in the Chester Falls series and features an opposites attract and waking up married tropes, a family with a penchant for inappropriate gifting, lot’s of cinnamon buns, and a small town like no other.

A fantastically sweet return to Chester Falls
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the series so far and How to Catch a Bachelor was no less sweet and enjoyable.
Indy is the local coffee shop owner and baker of sweet goods who also lends an ear and some advice to the loveless of Chester Falls. Despite his past he remains a romantic at heart. But after a hilarious case of mistaken identity, he can’t help but be attracted to Tate - divorce lawyer and all round cynic.
I really liked both characters. Both carrying hurt from their pasts from vastly different reasons they’re attracted to each other and slowly but surely falling deeper and deeper.
As always with Chester Falls we get some catch ups with our precious favourites (I loved Indy’s interaction with Tom in the coffee shop), but we also get more side characters (Indy’s family is a hoot!).
Nick Hudson’s narration is spot on. Bringing the characters and setting of Chester Falls is a big task and boy is he up to the challenge.

Sizzling heat and cinnamon buns
Strry: Indy’s story was one I was waiting for the most and it did not disappoint! I loved how the unavoidable attraction between him and Tate was an undercurrent through the whole book! Loved the balance between the sappy, snarky, funny, painful and angsty. This book has a whole rollercoaster of emotions and I was invested in it from the very beginning! Also, the appearance of all stars from Chester Falls (#TeamTomForLife) was an icing on the cake! The world and found family created by Ana Ashley in this series is like a cosy armchair near a fireplace - a spot you always want to visit!
Narration: Nick Hudson is perfect for this series! A very pleasant and flexible voice. All the characters get their own presence and the voices are perfectly matched!

Cute romance
This story between Indy and Tate Is filled with a lot of fun parts, banter, great friends and had a bit of angst. Indy is a lovely character always there for his friends and Indy’s family is awesome! Indy and Tate became friends and later something more but past mistakes made Tate afraid of hurting Indy. As the book progressed they realized that they have feelings for each other and a visit to Vegas and a drunken night send Tate running, you have to listening the book to know what happened, this is a nicely written book and Nick Hudson did a great job narrating this story, I love Tate voice! This is a great addition to this serie! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Sweet buns, sweet story!
Talk about a confirmed bachelor! Being a divorce lawyer probably gives Tate a jaded view of commitment and relationships, so when he meets Indigo and lays down the law, Indigo reluctantly agrees. Luckily love is always in the air in Chester Falls and it seems to spread to Vegas! Ana Ashley has written another fairytale romance with her usual good-natured humour and sweetness. It was great watching Tate grow and change over course of the book. I also enjoyed the wedding planning for Tristan & Ben, the boys’ trip to Vegas, and the focus on delicious baked goods! 🎧 Nick Hudson imbues the story with his always infectious warmth and happiness. His voicing, comedic timing, and pacing really suit the Chester Falls series.

I really loved Tate and Indy!
The story is funny, sexy, with a strong base of friendship, lost of push and pull, self-doubts, but also impromptu make out sessions (and marriages!).
Around the two wonderful MCs, who are so clueless that everyone around them has to tell them they’ve fallen in love before they acknowledge it, there’s a wonderful team of side characters and so much sugary treats to keep you hungry throughout all the book!
Loved Nick Hudson's narration,

Tight buns are just one way to catch a bachelor!
A humorous case of mistaken identity begins this return to Chester Falls and Indy the baker and coffee shop proprietor is up… a bit gun shy from a broken engagement but always ready with a kind word and a patient ear, falling in love with his best friend’s soon to be brother-in-law and waking up married to him in Vegas during the bachelor weekend was not in the plan. His new husband, Tate, is horrified at the thought of commitment and possibly hurting Indy in the bargain. I truly enjoy each visit to Chester Falls, that idyllic Connecticut burg with an uncommonly high success rate of hot men falling in love with each other. The feels in these stories might bring an occasional tear, the heat level is very high, and you can’t help but become invested. The narration by Nick Hudson is a perfect choice for this series, and I enjoy his characterizations thoroughly. Highly recommended.

Adorable
I love this book. It is probably my favourite of the series. Indy is an amazing character (and I want his cinnamon buns), very caring and giving. Tate breaks your heart. I had a tear listening to the audio even though I knew what was coming because I'd read the book.
Great performance by Nick Hudson.

The performance was good.
Another dnf in a short time. This one made it to 50%.
Let's make a list. To finish a book I seem to need one of the following occurrences:
A plotline
A mystery
Any kind of problem to be solved
An evil person getting what they deserve
A goal to be reached
Hope or longing of the romantic kind
This book is just people meeting and talking. Why should I want to finish this?
The whole 'my love interest does not believe in relationships' trope, is not mentioned for the first 50%, at which point the male, jaded, mature protagonist suddenly turns into a teenage girl and confesses to his love interest: 'all my childhood I was looking for someone who would love me,' and more emotional psychobabble.
Add to that ridiculous, over the top family and I throw in the towel.
