Summary
The next in the wonderfully warm and uplifting series set on the New Forest Puddleduck Farm
How can life be too busy for love?
Phoebe Dashwood is living the dream. She’s running her own successful vet practice, Puddleduck Vets, alongside her grandmother’s animal sanctuary.
She’s also dating the gorgeous, yet slightly broken Rufus Holt, the most eligible bachelor in the New Forest.
So why isn’t she blissfully happy?
Both Phoebe and Rufus are consumed 24/7 by their own commitments. Their relationship is always last on the list.
Phoebe juggles quirky, yet demanding clients and their pets whilst widowed Rufus is consumed by his anxieties, responsibilities of fatherhood and the unenviable tasks of being a Lord in waiting with a huge estate to manage.
Phoebe knows that when you’re a vet, there isn’t always a happy ending. But will there be a happy ending for Phoebe, Rufus and everyone else at Puddleduck Farm?
Is it ever really possible to have it all?
Upliftiing, poignant and feel-good ficiton, perfect for the fans of Alison Sherlock, Sarah Hope and Lisa Hobman

Another amazing book in this great series.
Was really glad to find there was a third book in this series. Phebie and Rufus have finally got together and she's finally achieved her dream of running her own vet practice as well as helping her grand mother with the animal sanctury puddle duck pets. However why is she not blissfully happy. Phebie and Rufus find themselves putting there relationship after other things due to both having huge responsibilties. This book was heart warming and went at a nice pace. It was also lovely to have the side stories with other characters as well. I have to say i'm very happy with the outcome and feel Phebey is with the write person. I hope there is more to this series as it's a great read.

Thank goodness for the ending
Parts of this and Phoebe's personal journey during this book were verging on depressingly unfair and frustrating on behalf of her character and women everywhere, a great ending however made up for this in spades. Also enjoyed hearing about the Alpacas and some of the more amusing vet stories. And the reading of the tea leaves was definitely a top moment.

Another wonderful book in this idyllic series
I just love this series of Rom-com books and can imagine myself as Phoebe in the New Forest with all those animals. A must for anyone wanting a light hearted listen and feelings of love and comfort.

Why can’t all Vets have an exciting life or do they
This was a brilliant novel. Narrated well with a whole cast of voices curtesy of Karen Cass. You made the story come to life.
Thank you Della I look forward to the next episode

Kind of a stupid ending
OK story, but I'm disappointed... I didn't expect it to land in all the class differences and in a "truth" that those should be accepted and respected forever... I expected more from the story...

Loving this series, so heartwarming
I am really enjoying this series, I can picture myself in the locations (most of them I know though I don’t live there) and get a lot from the love and kindness shown to animals, nature and other people. The humour and warmth shine through, making it a real page turner (or whatever the audible equivalent is!). Can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens next
