Summary
DI Clare Mackay is about to face a test of her loyalty....
When a report comes in that a van containing two prison officers and a convicted jewel thief is missing, the police in St Andrews work quickly to locate the vehicle. loads going on
really liked the narration. Good story line from the beginning. Lots of puzzles to be solved. Just really enjoyed how it was all put together. I will be listening to more.

A delayed pleasure.
I love this series,brilliant main character.
I ordered it as soon as it came out but tried to wait as I knew there would be another year before the next one. I eventually cracked and listened over two days.’
Good plot, as always things are not what they seem.
Now another long wait!

Every one is as good as the last.
I've not heard a bad one yet. They're all stand alone but a potted history to give backgrounds are given during the telling. I'm loving the Author narrating too

Poor ending, disappointing
I usually really enjoy Marion Todd’s clever plot lines but this one seemed to run out of steam - it felt rushed at the end and unsatisfactory finished.
I have always found her narration quite monotone - everyone sounds the same and very little passion comes across in the delivery of most lines. This doesn’t usually bother me too much because the storylines have kept me hooked. This time however I noticed it more.
