Summary
Say goodbye to sleepless nights, stressed-out days, and the chaos overthinking has been causing in your life!
Do you worry about every little thing people say or do around you? What did they mean? Might you have made a mistake? Are they out to get you? Or have you maybe offended or upset them? Do self-doubt and second-guessing sabotage you at every turn? Do you agonize about the past and fret over the future, keeping you from making the most of the present?
It’s exhausting to live with your mind racing around from one dreadful possibility to the next, even when you know logically that a lot of these thoughts are unrealistic or at least unlikely. Logic quite often has nothing to do with it. It’s thinking that has got you into this mess, and more unhelpful thinking is simply not the answer. Unfortunately, it can be hard to stop once you get yourself into the spiral of overthinking. Your thoughts can get ahead of you, racing around like runaway trains on the tracks in your head, blocking you from your own mind and distracting you from what really matters.
If you want to take your life back, start feeling better, and live more peacefully, you need to take control and put an end to your overthinking. In this practical and easy-to-use audiobook, you will discover:
- The best way to calm an overactive mind to keep it from overwhelming you
- How your thoughts create your feelings and decide your reality
- How to make decisions without getting bogged down by analysis paralysis and procrastination

This guide has drastically reduced my overthinking
I loved listening to Overcoming Overthinking - The Complete Guide to Calm Your Mind by Conquering Anxiety, Sleeplessness, Indecision, and Negative Thoughts by Kirk Teachout and narrated by Mike Lenz. The author does an amazing job of breaking down the root cause of overthinking and providing practical solutions that are customized to each individual's unique needs.
I’ve always struggled with trying to make decisions and constantly overthinking on which decision to make and then even after making the decision, I struggle with overthinking whether that decision that I made was a good one. However, this book taught me some great strategies to accept the decisions that I made and not waste so much time overthinking them. Really being able to put them in the right perspective, which was extremely helpful.
Mike Lenz does an outstanding job of narrating the audiobook and his enthusiasm and passion for the subject comes through in each line. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who is struggling with overthinking and is looking for a comprehensive guide to help them overcome it.

My wife loved this book!
I'm retired now, so don't get stressed much, but my wife has a high-powered job with over a thousand people ultimately reporting to her, and as a result she works long hours and doesn't get much sleep, Naturally everything I say on the topic is wrong, being the husband, but when advice comes from someone else she is more likely to take it onboard, especially when it's good advice like in this book. She's sleeping better already!
