Summary
While the crew of the starship Flying Dutchman have been trying to assure that hostile aliens do not have access to Earth, the UN Expeditionary Force has been stranded on the planet they nicknamed "Paradise".
The Flying Dutchman is headed back out on another mission, and the UN wants the ship to find out the status of the humans on Paradise. But Colonel Joe Bishop warns that they might not like what they find, and they can't do anything about it without endangering Earth.

Amazing listen
Being the third book in the series I was worried that the humour would start to get old. It's safe to say that this is not the case. Love listening to Skippy and the crew and can't wait for the next book in the series. Keep up the amazing work.

Still a lot of fun
Definitely a fun series with plenty of likable characters, but we need to ease off on Joe having ideas Skippy hadn't thought of. This has been taken to a knowing level in the third book and is a little overused.
Doesn't stop it being fun.

#Skippy, Skippy, Skippy the om-nip-o-tent#
Three books in and still loving the banter between Skippy and the pirates. I look a bit weird walking the dog and bursting out laughing at Skippy's put downs, but it's well worth it.

Not quite as funny as books 1 & 2 but still an enjoyable listen
As the basic premise and characters are all well established now, the book lacked the novelty of the earlier ones, but the excellent narration an good pace kept me listening. Might even go for book 4...

Our intrepid crew and all-knowing artificial intelligence ('skippy') continue their quest across the galaxy. Lighthearted SF that's engaging and continues to develop the characters and context. On to the next installment.....
