Rade and his team have joined forces with a new ally to hunt a rogue alien on a lava world.

Rade intends to use a research station on the planet as his base of operations. honestly some great none humanoid alien enemies, as well as non standard combat environments. some fairly funny character interactions as well

The story line moves along quickly and continues to entertain. The narration is superb bringing to life the various characters. However, the characters Mannix? and Bender have become an irritation with their near constant tirades of profanities and dual references. In the earlier books these were much less prominent.
