About this listen

An Alpha Legion Audiobook

In the hostile universe of the 41st Millennium, where allegiances are ever fickle, few of the Emperor’s sons are more difficult to understand or predict than the Alpha Legion.

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

It's a story about the sneakiest and most oblique of traitors, written by Rob Sanders, master of the twisty-turny tale. It's sure to make your head spin…

THE STORY

Branded traitor since the Heresy, the motives and actions of the Alpha Legion have always been shrouded in mystery. Alpha Legionnaire Occam the Untrue leads his warband out of its hunting grounds in the Maelstrom on an epic quest for salvation, not just for himself, but for his whole Legion. With the forces of the Inquisition snapping at their heels, Occam and his followers must use all their guile and considerable martial prowess as they make their way to the cold heart of the galaxy, to a confrontation that no one, least of all Occam himself, could have foreseen.

Great story, nothing really important happens but it’s an enjoyable alpha legion book, I had fun listening to it and it’s all that matters. Hydra Dominatus!

Enjoyable story

Loved the book from start to end, it has all the twists and turns you’d expect from an Alpha legion book. The narrator does an absolutely amazing job and my only wish is that they would make a version where he narrates harrowmaster as well!

Superb story and narrator.

it's a bit of a slow grind at the beginning but it picks up, some great twists and the ending is pure quality.

Always been a fan of the Heretical side of 40k but this had me questioning if all heretics are in fact not heretics? Great story, good narrator.

Renegade Heretics or Loyalists Renegades?

And arguably the best narrator so far to tackle twentieth legion fiction apart from the venerable Sean Barratt.

Great Alpha Legion read

Fantastic and insiteful into the way the Alpha Legion operate in 40k. Finally a book that covers who they are loyal to, even if without details.

A great ending and mod story twist also!

Wow what an unexpectedly great book!

At first it started off like every other 40k book. A small squad away to start off a firefight with a brief background on the planet and the protagonist. The story goes at a far pace but the ending was by far one of the best endings I've heard in a while.

One Of The Best 40k Endings

like all recent 2024 40k books pretty bad
and I have taken an oath never to buy 40k books again

mediocre at best

Some parts of the story were silly and the Alfa legion was ridiculously overpowered. but it was a good story plot and a good performance by the narrator.

good and bad story

Probably the best current universe Alpha legion story thus far, just a shame we didn't get the ending every fan wants .

Apart from the predictability of the ending it was a great story
