Very practical and useful
I only have a tiny space outside my place and this audiobook has been really helpful. I've started to implement many ideas and I feel I have the confidence to know what will work now. It feels good and I think I can now make the best use of this space. Great audiobook. Maybe a bit dry in the narration, but good information and practical.

Sooo needed this!
This book was exactly what I needed as a beginner. I live in the city and have a small balcony that I didn't think I could do much with, but this book showed me otherwise! It covers literally everything - from choosing the right plants and containers to soil health and pest management. The step by step instructions are easy to follow, and I appreciated the tips on avoiding common mistakes. The bonus section with recipes using ingredients from your garden is a nice touch and got me excited about my harvest! Highly recommend for anyone new to container gardening.

If you’re itching to turn that small space on your patio, balcony or living room into a lush, green haven, this book is the way to go. It’s packed with practical advice and inspiring stories that make you feel like you can do it too.
The first thing that grabbed me was how it breaks down container gardening into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether you're a newbie or just looking to up your gardening game, this book has got you covered.
Here are a few sections that really stood out to me:
1. The book gives you enough information to grow a variety of plants while keeping pests and diseases in check.
2. It walks you through evaluating your space, picking the right containers, and figuring out the best spots for your plants. It even talks about growing plants vertically to save space.
3. The book shows you how to keep soil healthy and how to make your own compost.
4. It goes into some detail of designing your container garden to make your container garden look amazing using a pleasing combination of colours, textures, and shapes.
5. The book shows you how to grow your own food, and even how to use companion planting to boost your harvest.
In terms of the audiobook, I wasn’t sure that something as technical as container gardening would work well as an audiobook. The verdict is that it worked surprisingly well. The narrator is clear, and the book is easy to follow in audio format. The author includes a downloadable PDF document that you can use as a reference for all of the technical detail about soil conditions, plants selection, and so forth—which is super useful!
In short, this book has everything you need to get started in container gardening. If you want to transform your small space into a thriving green sanctuary, I highly recommend listening to this book.

Easy Planting
Learning about soil and compost might sound tough, but the book makes it simple. It's great to know you can grow food right on your patio. The tips on watering and dealing with bugs are very useful. You'd feel more confident to avoid common mistakes. The recipes included are a fun bonus. You can't wait to try cooking with your own veggies and herbs. I got some brilliant tips from this book!
We are now in our sixties and don't have the energy or space to plant a back garden anymore.
This book gave us encouragement. There are so many bits and pieces to gardening that can be learnt from this book. We started with taking inventory of our own goods and chattels.
Most of our flowers will go in the front, and the vegetables in the back garden, all in containers and pots.
We started with the compost today. (Just added the eggshells.)
We are buzzing to start planting!

So touching and exciting for me
Listening to this audiobook has filled me with excitement and inspiration. I can’t wait to apply everything I learned to transform my patio into a lush productive garden. Gardening with my grandma was always my favorite thing in the world and I miss those special moments dearly. Creating an oasis of vegetables on my patio will be a wonderful way to honor her memory and feel her loving presence around me. This experience has rekindled my love gardening and brought back cherish memories of my grandma.
