repetitive but has wisdom
very repetitive and the first few chapters read like an advert for his other work, but there is nuggets of wisdom buried in here. just a shame he repeats so much

Amazing
I am one of the lucky ones who was freed from smoking using Allen's Easy Way method 5 years ago after 22 years of smoking. 3 years ago I read his Easy Weigh book and lost weight (and maintained). So before I listened to this book I had high hopes but skeptical at the same time. I'm 3 weeks into practicing mindfulness now and my stress levels have reduced, I'm sleeping better and I'm concentrating better. I don't know what it is about his method but it seems to work for me. What an amazing person he was. RIP

Good book
Not the best I’ve read by Allen Carr but there is no doubting that his books hit home with me and help me to connect body and mind... and I’m not a hippie

it was ok
could of cut the book in half as it was filled with how he helps people to quit smoking,
nearly every chapter was filled with stopping smoking
I quit smoking over 20 years ago so it was of no interest to me about smoking and how to quit
the mindfulness parts were good but it was again long winded with smoking inbetween.

Fantastic, highly recommend this audible.
I have read other books by Allen and this one did not disappoint, it really is that easy but you have to follow the instructions and go back over anything that does not sink in first time. The Narrator had a lovely voice, very sincere

Excellent toolbox for repairing your mind!
This audiobook contains a lot of useful tools as well as ways to view life that I will definitely put yo use starting right now.

Good, but I don't smoke.
This book has some really good points and has been helpful with the mindfulness techniques, it was also good in how it tells you to approach life.
However, I am not (and have never been a smoker) so the constant references to quitting smoking and how wonderful his quitting smoking programme is grew irritating. The style of narration also felt like I was being sold something.
Overall worth a listen but if you have no experience of smoking I suspect you will also find it annoying at times.

I enjoyed listening to this.
Great Narrative and Narrator. Down to earth explanations of mindfulness and coping with stress, addictions etc. Would recommend to anyone struggling with addiction.
