I really enjoyed this book. Both characters were likable and interesting. It was hard to not think what I would have done in Claire's position but I did like how the story wound round and entwined. I love books like this that are different and thrilling.

I was very pleasantly surprised by what I thought would be a predictable and run of the mill thriller. It is well written, clever and different. The characters are convincing and make a pleasant change from feeble helpless men-dependent women of typical psychological thrillers. It was very well narrated. I look forward to more from this author.

I'm 2/3 in this book now and I can say the following:

First: It is advertised as "the heart stopping thriller" and to be honest it is more like a drama about abusive relationships, women's friendships and mommy issues than a thriller.

Second: there is literally zero pages about the flight. Everything happens before and after a plane crash zero onboard action.

Still it's a descent book, it's just that the title and marketing stretch it.

I'll wait to listen through the end and update the rating and review.
