The characters were portrayed well and good narration but the story is very far fetched. To have that many people with links in their past in one place is a far stretch

This is a book that you completely have to suspend belief on how these couples end up on the island and are related. The first quarter was a bit meh and I thought well it is free so it doesn't matter. But then it got really interesting and yes completely ridiculous but it was so much fun I just had to keep listening to see who gets murdered and how and why and how the next interrelationship developed. It was complete nonsense but so much fun.

An incredibly fanciful but entertaining story nonetheless. Quite Murder-She-Wrote ish
Pure escapism and also came across as very ‘tongue-in - cheek’ almost (although not sure this was the intention!).

Also final ‘twist’ in my opinion was very predictable from outset.
