Summary
I never should have agreed to become his....
Liam Kincaid. Super grumpy. Super grouchy. Super tall, dark...hottie.
Whose engagement I was responsible for breaking up.
It was all a big mistake...honest.
Only he doesn’t see it that way.
He now has 24 hours to get married and claim his inheritance.
And he insists I pay for my error...by posing as his fake wife for thirty days.
It’s not like I have a choice.
If I don’t agree he’ll destroy my wedding-planning business.
Besides it’s only until he convinces his mother that he’s settled down, he says.
We only have to pretend to like each other.
Reassure his family and friends that we are in love.
Only catch?
We can’t stand the sight of each other.
Every time we are in the same space we almost come to blows.
But what happens when the chemistry between us detonates?
Note: This is Liam and Isla's story. An Enemies to Lovers, Fake Marriage, Billionaire Romance stand alone featuring a hot possessive billionaire and the high spirited wedding planner who dares to clash with him.
Tropes: Fake Marriage, Enemies to Lovers, Grumpy Sunshine, feisty strong willed heroine who gives as good as she gets.

Enjoyed it!
A great start to what promises to be another great series from L. Steele.
Roxy and Liam's chemistry was off the charts. The way these two bounced off each other throughout the book was addictive to read. The author brings some serious subjects up too..
I am a sucker for a fake relationship trope and then you add in enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine and forced proximity? YES PLEASE! I am here for it! This would have to probably be my most favourite book by L. Steele.
Can't wait to see what else the author has up her sleeve for this series!

I’m ready for more!
A lovely little casual listen, that I really enjoyed! I knew with Shane narrating I wanted to listen to this - there’s just something about L Steele books and Shane’s voice that’s like a perfect match 😉
This book brought the chemistry, I definitely plan to listen again!

Liam and his Ladybird
When Liam’s intended bride jilts him weeks before their marriage of convenience he needs to find a replacement and fast if he’s to fulfil the conditions of his father’s will so who better than the wedding planner whose words convinced his fiancée to call of their wedding even if he does have to blackmail her into it. After all, one woman is just as convenient as the next…...
The Proposal has got to be my favourite book from L. Steele. This was definitely a tale of love and hate with so much unbridled passion and chemistry between Liam and Isla that I swear I felt my kindle begin to heat up as I was reading and that was even before their first kiss. With some wicked banter filled exchanges between them, this relationship was fireworks all the way and I don’t mean those damp squibs that flare for a second, I mean the breathtaking explosions of sound and colour that light up the sky. With appearances from a host of familiar characters including the Seven and the Sisterhood of the Seven, well if it’s good enough for the men to have their own little clique then why shouldn’t their better halves not to mention an alcoholic Great Dane called Tiny, this book was a pure joy to read and has left me eagerly anticipating Hunter and Zara’s book.
Fabulous dual narration as usual with performances from Shane East with his portrayal of the dominant and arrogant Liam and playing opposite him as the irreverent but equally insecure Isla was Roxy Isles. Together they brought these characters to life conveying all the antagonism and scorching chemistry between Liam and Isla with ease and making The Proposal a fantastic listening experience.

The banter!!
Honestly I really, really enjoyed this book. It’s no secret that fake relationship, enemies to lovers books are holy grail books so I can safely say this one hit the mark for me.
The banter between these two was *chef’s kiss*. These two had a deep loathing for each other which made their chemistry equal as explosive. I loved these two and they were the perfect match. Liam’s alphaholeness against Isla’s feisty, fiery nature was a winning combo.
I loved hearing Liam and Isla being brought to life by Shane East and Roxy Isles. They brought these characters and their personalities to life flawlessly!
The Proposal was entertaining, spicy, and an overall really great read!

The Proposal
A good written story around an inconvenient marriage proposal.
When Liam confessed his traumatic past to Isla, I hoped she let go of her secret too.
But it took her too long and it got a bit on my nerves. So Liams character was much more loveable.

Great characters
This woman knows how to tame her man, fake or not. With great characters that I absolutely adore. The performance is brilliant, both narrators capture the personalities of these characters.

I loved it!
This is the first book in the Morally Grey Billionaires Series. This series is part of the excellent Big Bad Billionaires World. Liam and Isla's slow burn and fake marriage romance is well written, passionate, and engaging. Liam, a billionaire, is handsome, alpha, possessive, dominant, and protective. He is Weston's brother from The Billionaire's Christmas Bride (Big Bad Billionaires, Book 3). Isla is beautiful, strong, and smart. They are perfect together. Their story is filled with banter, sizzling chemistry, drama, and secrets. This is a great grumpy/sunshine romance! The supporting characters are great. I loved to see again the characters from the Big Bad Billionaires Series. Shane East and Roxy Isles did an excellent job bringing this story to life. They both have a beautiful voice. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to. I enjoyed it!
