Easy to get hooked
Very similar puzzle-wise to dan brown which i love but this is unique in its own way....Im listening to the next one already loved it

Superior tosh
How to review a book like this! At its simplest it’s a schlocky book about Templar treasures with crackpot theories and mysteries which turn out to be total bollox. However, it’s done with a knowing but not arch attitude and the author’s made up theory is no more daft than most. If you’re going to read a book about Templar treasures, you’d do worse than make it this one.

Interesting story but not easy to listen
The story as it is was interesting but the narrator was not very very good. Breaks should have been longer when jumping from one person to another and it made the experience bit hasty.

Broken Sword vibes
A nice easy way to learn a bit about the Templars. I got this because I had just remembered how much I liked the first Broken Sword game and the write up sounded about as close as I would get to that :)

An excellent story well told
A very well researched and executed novel, bringing new life to the Templar legacy. The story is written in such a way as to make all quite plausible, without any of the Hollywood nonsense.
I particularly enjoyed the way the life of Christ and the resurrection are portrayed. The writers note at the end was a good addition, as it specified the facts, the inspiration, and the artistic license.

Decent series opener. Dull narration.
Not a bad series opener. Malone is a fairly ordinary hero but that works well enough. The pace was good and the plot seemed well conceived but the narration was woefully dull. Because the narration was so monotone I found at times that my attention would wander. I gather Scott Brick takes over for the next in the series. Hopefully he will do narration. a better job.
