Summary

Borealis Four has fallen under the sway of an insidious Chaos cult and its dense jungle terrain makes it the ideal battlefield for the infamous Colonel Straken and his platoon...or so it seems.

almost put off by other review

to the person saying Straken wasn't Straken, well there's a reason in the book for this which I think the other reviewer overlooked, I found this to be very enjoyable with a great twist. not everything is as it seems when cults are involved.

Very enjoyable, nice atmospherics and narration

I thought this was a good story well performed. not sure if it fits in with the lore or not, that's for more experienced people to say. But as someone with a basic knowledge and who loves catachans I thought this was a really good book. I'd like to see more of the narration she as I felt that was really well done.

Not Straken

Just not great, Straken seems more like a stupid fool Hardy commander rather than the veteran soldier he is.

Read Straken not this that only serves to sully his name and honour
