Alexandra Inglis is a respected family doctor, trusted by her patients to keep their most intimate secrets. And if sometimes the boundaries between duty and desire blur … well, she's only human.

Many twists and turns

Would make a great TV drama, a sordid compelling listen, no real hero's! Great narration

It had me hooked

When Alex wakes up next to a strange man after a boozy night in Ibiza she hopes to put the regrettable act behind her. But as a consequence of her encounter with Jonathan her life will plummet out of control. The author does a good job of exploring the characters of Alex, her husband Rob and the narcissistic boy/man Jonathan. The secondary characters of Jonathan’s parents, his girlfriend and Alex’s partner David are also well fleshed out. The plot does draw you in and, wow, is it difficult to work out culpability but the ending is a little bit unbelievable and the epilogue a tad predictable. Still, the author rounds everything up nicely. The narration is top class.

Wow...didn’t see that coming

Great storyline that had so many twists to it that you really were left thinking where is this going!
Characters were very well drafted & totally believable with a good cast around them that really added into the mystery.
Only ever so slightly annoying thing was the way the ending was punctuated by music as the finale was revealed...very minor though.
Great listen & very much enjoyed.

A little disappointed really.

Had high hopes for this book after reading the reviews. Found it quite gripping in places, but overall I found the story dragged and was pretty unbelievable in the end.
A different ending may have made this book amazing, who knows.
It was well written in places...which was a saving grace, but overall a disappointment.
