About this listen
Audiobook 4 of the Space Wolf series
Exiled to Terra to join the Wolfblade – honour guards for Navigator House Belisarius – Ragnar Blackmane must navigate the politics of the Throneworld if is he is to unravel an assassination plot and regain his honour.
LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE
It's a very different tale for young Ragnar. Stripped of everything he knows – his pack, his world, and his honour – and sent into an unfamiliar environment, can he survive and thrive, or will he fail and fall?
THE STORY
Blackmane becomes embroiled in an assassination plot that reaches into the very depths of the Imperium! Unused to such delicate political machinations, Ragnar must unleash the howling fury of the Space Wolves to save this noble dynasty and regain his honour!

William King is trying to force a space marine into some kind of spy/bodyguard role, a role for which he isn't suited, nor is any space marine. The story lacks the depth of the other 3 books, and there are large sections were Ragnar is talking to people or doing nothing, probably because King ran out of ideas.
To see the book series come to such a poor end is a crying shame. Book 3 has an excellent end and i would of liked to see it continue directly with the enemies from that ending. Sending Ragnar off to Terra smacks of trying to be different for difference sake.
TL;DR Phillip Sacramento is excellent, the story is poor and i'd advise against listening.
Excellent Narration but a poor end to the series
