Summary

What a great little story; 4 writers with different short stories all wrapped up within the overall story, such a great idea.
The book was very well read, although some of the accents (more the women and the upper class reading of their stories) weren’t 100% to my taste, but the rest were excellent.
Would happily listen to more from both author and narrator!

Give it your best shot
Wow
Love the narrator in this book
Four authors have to write the best story of their lives, or they die. There's four short stories buried in this book.
Each of the four "contestants" commits to writing and posting a horror story . You will need follow the stories to their ultimate conclusion. This is an engaging story.

You only get one shot review
Oh wow what a book. It’s definitely not a boring I can tell you that, and you are definitely going to be a little more careful who’s hard work you criticize or laugh at from now on.
Something as simply as not giving someone the proper response to there work can go such a long way, and for four writers that appears to be exactly what they all did wrong.
After apparently criticizing an up and coming writers hard work, which leads to said writer taking there own life, four well known authors face off with a deranged women who wants them all to suffer the same fate.
Only one can survive, but who will it be? The offer is out there, write the story of there lives. I mean it’s not that hard to do right, there all authors. But a twist has them all making decisions they normally wouldn’t, so it’s kill or be killed. That’s the only option.
That ending though... oh boy I pity the people who make this women mad. She smart, cunning and gunning for revenge. Literally!!

Cleverly written, the book takes you through a range of emotions. You're going to love some of these characters, and likely hate some of them equally as much.

Amazing story with a surprising ending!
I loved the narration of this novel and the narrator's skills in changing accents and voices!
This story is so clever and gripping until the end!
Four famous authors receive an email from a person seeking revenge for the suicide of someone they loved. As this person attributes the suicide to these authors, they are asked to write a story each and the one that writes the best get to live. They only get one shot!
This allows us to have 4 additional stories within the main novel which I thought was a brilliant device.
At the end the person that sent the email will have the revenge she was looking for, but which story won?
Not only this novel kept me on the edge just impatient to keep going, but the ending blew my mind unexpectedly!
Thanks to Kevin J. Kennedy for the audiobook and this is my honest review.
