I absolutely love everything I have read from this authour so far.. this is a good old mafia forbidden romance. it is age gap, taboo, spicy &, it is a good read and I loved it. Kristian & Zenya were amazing together and they certainly deserved their HEA. Some sad moments 😞 with parent sickness but the ending will leave you smiling. Narrators did a very good job bringing these characters to life. Totally recommend 👌

It’s an age gap taboo romance Uncle & Niece however they aren’t blood relations , the audio was absolutely amazing love the narrators they brought Zenya and Kristian to life. I really loved this book so much that I have several editions of the physical books .

Mafia and taboo, that is all I needed to see? After listening to book 1 of this series, I was ready to dive into this one, and it's dark and delicious! Christian was ready to take over the family business until his brother removed him as then next in line. Now he's ready to take back what is his, including the heart of his niece, Zenya. Zenya has been groomed to take over, after all, she is the next in line. Young, but not naive, she has been in the thick of the family for some time. But Christian is back, and he is ready to stake his claim on her. Does she feel the same? Will he get what he wants? Will he be seen as the power seeker? Zenya is quite a woman! For only being eighteen, she has a worldliness about her, and a strength that shows her maturity. Christian kept me guessing on his true intentions, adding to that suspense. This book is full of power struggles, deceit, action and excitement. It's a bit dark, but just enough to keep it the thrills high. A great listen!

Leanne Woodward and Bryant Walker bring this gem alive. Woodward ages the youthful Zenya, as time goes by, giving her the ability to be seen as a true contender. Walker is spot on in his darkness, as he creates Christian, a bit hungry for the power, but truly in love. I enjoyed these two together and their portrayal of the story.

If you've never read a book by Ms. Vincent you may want to check your TWs. This book will not be for everyone but it was for sure for me. I love an OTT J/P hero and Kristian was all that and more. 4.5 stars
