A Serene Slumber Oasis for Grown-Ups
"Bedtime Stories for Stressed Out Adults" is the sanctuary I never knew I needed. Listening to this audio book has been a tranquil revelation, offering a dual-purpose escape from stress and sleepless nights. The first part, with its soothing bedtime stories, carries you away to enchanting places, effectively dismantling the relentless grip of anxiety and overthinking. I typically use my ear buds to l listen in bed, my wife prefers reading so I don’t want to interrupt her routine. So I wake up to take out my ear buds, not wanting to fall asleep with those in my ears (which I’ve done before) but I find it easy to fall back asleep. Not a big deal, it works!

Ultimate sleep bundle
Since I discovered the joy of drifting off to sleep with spoken word audio, I've been on a delightful quest for more stories. Soothing
As an adult I never knew how much I could use a bed time story. The narrators voice is soothing and the stories were all interesting enough to keep my attention, yet not so attention grabbing that they kept me awake.

Insomina Relief
Most of the reasons I had trouble sleeping were due to mental reasons like anxiety and insomnia. I found the sleep meditation scripts helpful while overcoming insomnia by counting down to deep sleep. I discovered how to eliminate distractions, especially within a certain time before bed.

Great new way to sleep
I have such a hard time staying asleep and actually resting. Just this morning I could barely open my eyes because I was still so far in dreamland. Now, here's what I noticed. I didn't play my book last night because my husband didn't feel well and I didn't want to be a bother by playing the book on Audible. The last few nights I have been playing the book and I found that I fell asleep faster and woke up more refreshed. It's funny to think that as a kid, our parents read us stories to help us sleep and now as adults, the same method works except this time Alexa is reading it to me.
What I liked about this book is first it is 2 different books in one. There are stories as well as meditations that help relax you. If you've ever gone somewhere for self-care such as a massage, there is music that is played in there that helps you relax, and for me, sometimes I fall asleep. This book provides that same feeling. You just get so relaxed. The stories are nice and even-paced, with great details, and the stories are intended to help you drift away so there are no loud noises or interruptions. It is very clear that this author wants you to get a good night's sleep because the effort they put into these books is apparent.
I am excited to continue to listen to these to help me go to sleep. I feel so much more relaxed and now after missing one night of it and seeing the difference, I will put on headphones if I need to in order to not miss another night.

Yes, you CAN relax and sleep!
This two-book set is a must-read for anyone who has trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, and/or managing stress and anxiety. What makes this book unique–and wonderful–is that it is not made of prescriptive chapters that you read when you have time and hope to put into practice later. Rather, the book set contains 14 soothing bedtime stories, 11 guided techniques for sleep, and six guided meditations for anxiety, greeting the day, recharging, and the like. In all events, the narration and quiet spa-like music are amazingly soothing. Even when I listened while sitting in a chair rather than in bed, I could feel tension leaving my body.
Most of the bedtime stories are delightful fables, which are somehow both sophisticated and relaxing. You can listen to them before bed as a way to relax. You can also listen to them in bed, but it will take several nights to get through each story, as you will undoubtedly fall asleep well before a story is over. The sleep techniques relate to activities before bed, at bedtime, and during the night. After listening to all of them, some people might select one or two to use repeatedly, whereas others might keep cycling through most or all of the techniques. The daytime meditations can be used frequently or simply as needed.
I highly recommend this book set!

Great relaxing stories
Just tried this audiobook for sleep, and really enjoyed it! Always struggled with overthinking at bedtime, but these stories? Pure relaxation. They've got these calming meditations too, which are like magic for my racing mind. No annoying loud bits to wake you up either – they've really thought of everything. If you're tossing and turning all night, give this a go. Finally getting the deep sleep I've been missing for years. Totally worth it!

Peaceful sleep awaits!!
I have always had trouble falling asleep this book has changed that. I love the sleep stories and when combined with the music and meditations it’s power tool for sleep. I love the topic dealing with anxiety, overthinking and stress management in book 2. I don’t know how the author came up with this winning combination , but it works. I have read other books from this author on this topic and I like this book bundle the best. Great technique , great narrator a well done book. Plus it’s a two for 1 !! Everyone wins with this book.
