Made for the ADHD Brain
After I listened to this book, I had my daughter, who has ADHD, give it a try. Her room is always a disaster, and she gets overwhelmed just thinking about where to start. The book gave her simple, ADHD-friendly tips, like focusing on one small area at a time and setting up zones for her stuff—like a school supplies spot or an art corner. She also started using a timer for short cleaning bursts, which keeps her on track without losing focus. Now, she doesn’t feel stuck when it comes to organizing, and it’s really helping her stress. She has a long way to go as far as changing the habits that get her into this mess but at least she is making progress on her organization and cleaning methods.

Simple but potentially life-changing
I am not a fan of the term 'life-changing', because there are some pretty big shoes to fill there. But this audiobook definitely has the potential to be life-changing in a very real, tangible way. This book speaks of ADHD as an advantage and treats it as such. It gives practical steps and focuses on not huge changes all at once (which we know are difficult for anyone to maintain, never mind those of us with ADHD), but small, consistent changes. Those are the things that make all the difference.
Would recommend to any of my fellow ADHD fam or their loved ones. Truly inspirational.
