This book has it all. Drama, romance, passion, vulnerability, tenderness and adventure. I loved everything about this book.
I listened to this audiobook and Hannah Chiclana brought this book to life! I felt Aspen's every emotion, her fears, her longing and her passion for adventure. I genuinely didn't want this book to end! Theo was a breath of fresh air, he wasn't your usual stuffy, self-absorbed billionaire, he was caring, sweet yet he knew what he wanted out of life.
It was a pleasure to read, it was gripping and I loved the characters. Kandi brought the characters to life, each having their own personalities that were surprising and some were heartwarming.

I can't praise this book enough. Everything you want in a contemporary romance is in this book! I finished this book two days ago, and it is still on my mind. I need to re-visit these characters very soon.

Theo and Aspen’s story is sweet, slow paced, emotional, romantic, filled with drama, and a little suspense. They are both great characters. They share an instant attraction, and an undeniable chemistry. Theo is handsome, caring, supportive, and determined. Aspen is an intriguing character, shy, and naive. I loved to follow them in their slow burn romance. Hannah Chiclana did a great job with the narration.

Aspen’s plan for the summer are to travel and spend as much time enhancing her photography skills as possible even if it means being separated from her boyfriend as he will be part of the crew on a yacht. She never expected that meeting his boss would not only result in her being able to spend the summer on the yacht with her boyfriend and being able to do what she loved.

Theo was enchanted by her from their first meeting and it only became stronger when they find themselves spending time together. He helps her see not only the woman she is but the woman she is destined to be which causes her to reflect on not only what will fulfill her in the present but in the future as well.

Theo and Aspen have a connection that transcends far beyond the physical. Their journey is filled with romance, not only between the characters but with the setting as well, a little suspense and a whole lotta feels which will draw you in and captivate you from beginning to end. I enjoyed the pacing of the story from the narrator and thought she managed to bring out all the angst of the story and the characters.

4.5 Stars There's something about the kind of Angst that KS writes that pulls you in. And that same thing is present here. This is somehow the most heat filled slow burn I've read in some time and it has plenty of drama to keep you hooked. The connection between Aspen and Theo, the almost fairytale plot, the angst, the beautiful setting..it was intense and I had a blast with every second. I volunteered to listen and review a complimentary copy of this. All opinions are my own.

What a rollercoaster

Kandi Steiner is one of those authors that perfected the art of writing angst-filled, highly emotional reads. And love triangles, too. With that in mind and after reading the blurb, I expected to be utterly blown away – I mean, angst plus love triangle plus travelling plus the heroine being a photographer? OMG, it sounded all kinds of perfect and heavy and beautiful to me! And, yes, I did enjoy it for the most part – especially all those concise and vivid and colorful descriptions of the Mediterranean and how she always is able to make the emotions seep off the pages.

However, until we got to that point where Aspen and Theo’s connection became palpable it took quite a long while. And, well, then there was the love triangle that actually wasn’t that much of a love triangle, because Aspen’s boyfriend was a grade-A douche, and with that, the expected angsty push and pull was absent. Damn. So, it’s a solid read, but not a Kandi Steiner favorite of mine sadly.

I listened to it on audio, which was narrated by Hannah Chiclana. She did a wonderful job enhancing the entire experience further, giving voice to all of Aspen’s emotions beautifully.

I was sucked into this story from the very beginning and it was one heck of a listen! I’ve read this story before and I totally enjoy the slow-burn that has you itching for the steamy stuff. This audio book had me so focused on what was coming next that I didn’t want to stop listening for anything.

This is a slow-burn billionaire romance with some suspense and steam. It took me a bit to get into it, the speed was slow for my liking and the insta-love is not my cup of tea most days. I liked Theo but Aspen felt a bit flat for my taste, she is shy but that's not it maybe it was me or the narration as I got the audiobook, I did enjoy Hannah Chiclana voice, the storyline was interesting and had me hearing it all in a day, not my favorite from Kandi Steiner but I did enjoy it for what it was a billionaire romance.
