Summary

Cole & Aria
I was really looking forward to Cole after listening to Declan and this book did not disappoint.
Cole was brooding and quite, a little bit grumpy but now that we know all he went through in life it’s easy to understand why he is Luke that. Meeting Aria, a single mum from across the street made him see the world in a different light; Aria is a fighter and has been fighting for her life and her son’s life since she was too young, she’s fierce and protective, like a true single mum.
Both go through a rough time, trying to figure out what they are together, what the future holds for both and what’s going on in town and at school.
It was also nice to “see” the previous couples in their story.
Tim Paige and Stella Bloom bring these two amazing characters to life, brilliantly.

Cole & Aria
The female characters are the stand outs in this series; they are all so different and Aria is no exception. She is one strong mama bear! I loved her relationship with Zack and how they fitted in with the rest of the Mercy Ring family.
Cole's story just broke my heart; he was so standoffish in the other books but when you understand why it all makes sense and he really changed my mind. I'm hoping we see more of his sister too at some point as their dynamic was great. And Im so glad Anthony is sticking around - he's really grown on me and him and Zack are great additions.
Storywise this one really kept me guessing; like the other Mercy Ring books there is so much more going on than you think! I really enjoy how all these books have been woven together and previous characters still come in and out as it works really well instead of being insular.

Loved it
What a great book! What an amazing narration!
What do two people with bone deep trust issues and uncertain futures do when they feel such instant attraction for each other.
Fight it of course…..
I loved this story and it’s another fantastic addition to the series. Deep characters with flaws, that go on a journey of discovery together this book really hits all my soft spots. I loved how Stella Bloom narrated this totally kick butt heroine and really brought out the inner strength she had and pride in herself and her son for getting to where they had from such a difficult start.
Tim Paige. Brought Cole to life, ensuring that his protective nature and his fear of relationships got equal footing and when he admitted his feelings for Aria it was “chefs kiss”
I loved how involved in the story Zac and Anthony were, being more than just afterthought characters for sure and this brought a lot to the story too.
Intense and harsh, the storyline pulls no punches at times but the journey is worth it to the ending
Another 5* read leaving me hanging for the next one….

This book immediately became my favourite Nyssa book, It was fast paced, had multiple different intersecting plot lines running at the same time, the romance was fab, the sense of family and camaraderie was top notch. I devoured it in one sitting!
The audible narration just took it to the next level, Awesome book.
