I found this book interesting and informative. The author brought clarity to the subject.
I think that someone without a background in science could still understand this book.

I have read dozens of books about mental health and how to improve our brain's capabilities and this book stands out the most. The author is very knowledgeable and friendly, which shows greatly in her performance.

She gives proper advice on how to improve our brain's health after explaining in detail why we should do them.

Would totally recommend.

a compassionate, and technical view, that allows gradual, and permanent changes...as long as you put the work in.

This was charming and also very wide. The lifestyle advice was fantastic—it was rigorous and was empirically grounded, and also accessible to anyone.

She covers a lot of territory and the voice/tone of the work is great.

An stellar, big picture overview for those getting started

So impressed with this book that I've bought a physical copy to share with others! It's very well researched, heavily science based but also very practical. I probably only understood 50% of the science but there is plenty more to get your teeth into. It's very well read - clear and easy to listen to - but there are a few tiny stumbles and I'm not sure why these haven't been edited out as all narrators reading for 8 hours must make mistakes! Otherwise, an excellent use of a credit.

Fascinating, scientific, practical
