Brilliant
This book is great. With a lot of twists and turns you will be hooked. I love these characters and how well they suit each other. A brilliant performance.

too slow for my liking
A new to me author. I was attracted to the title because of the duet narration. The pace of the book was too slow for me. Bianca's back and forth was dragging and getting frustrating. She was attracted to Nico but she cannot get pass that he is part of the mob. Her wishy washy internal babble goes on and on. It's like listening to a fifteen year old berating herself for crushing on the bad boy. It was childish and tiring.
The performance of the narrators were great. I think the whole listening experience would be a lot better with a more engaging story.

Decent
Story was good, could have been more spice. The female narrator was good, but there was something missing with the male narrator, not quite enough emotional range in the narration, quite a monosyllabic tone, which I believe took something away from the book

Intense & hot
This was so hot! Full of deception and lies, forced arrangements, plots of revenge and destiny. The snark & back & forth banter was amazing!

This series is amazing!
I am loving this series by Eva Winners! The Belles and Monsters delivers a great romance and thrilling suspense keeping me engaged and excited! This book features Nico, and he is everything I love in an anti-hero. He is borderline stalker, always having his eye on Bianca, even when she was married to another. Once she grieved the death of her husband though, he made no secret that he was going to marry her. Blackmailing is the easiest way to get this arranged marriage done quickly, and I have to say, though there is an ulterior motive, Nico is nothing but loving and attentive. But this does not initially win over Bianca. Despite the attraction, she knows she holds a secret that could blow up the entire mafia world, and this scares her. Will Nico still protect what is his once the secret is revealed? Will Bianca ever give him her heart? And what will become of this world once her secret is out? This is a fun one. Full of twists and turns, and the surprises are big! I loved it, being able to get to know Cassio a little and see Luciano again. It's a fast paced, exciting listen and now I can't wait for Cassio!
PJ Morgan and Xander Marceaux bring this gem to life. Morgan is perfectly cast as Bianca. She is strong on the outside and mush on the inside, but her facade is set. I love that we can interpret it all with an inflection! Marceaux is protective, alpha male and full of confidence. I love that his voice is commanding, but still almost like a hug! It's the perfect mix with these two and it gave me hours of entertainment.

Loved the dual narration of PJ Morgan and Xander Marceaux, who bring the characters, plot and all the emotions to your ears.
If you love a dark age gap , full of suspense and mafia romance, this is for you . Ohh full of twists and turns, mysteries and secrets. Lets not forget a villain. Daughters are used as chest pieces. When Bianca's husband steals money from the mob, she knew it would catch up to her to eventually. When it doses she just didn't realise she would be all alone. Nico Morelli knows the identity of Bianca's biological father and her deceased husband's past history and he wants revenge. Soon revenge and other feelings arise . Bianca is not going to any ones else's victim, and resists Nico at every turn. Problem is the chemistry between them is off the charts.

Thrilling mafia romance
This thrilling mafia romance had me hooked from start to finish. The chemistry between Nico and Bianca was electric, and their love story was intense and heartwarming. While I loved the steamy moments and the plot, I felt there were missed opportunities for Nico to connect with Bianca's children, which would have added depth to his character. Nevertheless, it's a captivating standalone read in the Belles and Mobster's series, perfect for fans of mafia romances.

AMAZING!
Nico Morelli is a BOSS! He knew what he was doing and I loved watching the whole thing unfold, I also loved watching the boss be knocked down by a "housewife", it was everything.
Bianca and Nico had an instant attraction despite her denial. It was hard watching her struggle with how she should feel versus how she really felt and I loved watching her growth and watching her become the woman she was destined to be. I also loved watching Nico in all his ruthless glory become a sap for Bianca even though he tried to fight it.
These two complimented each other in the best way possible and I loved it. The struggles they went through were tough and I hated watching Bianca fall apart and learn the truth but it made her stronger and helped her realize her own strength.
PJ Morgan and Xander Marceaux were spectacular! They nailed this performance!

Great dual narration for a fabulous Mafia romance
A darkish, age gap mafia romance with a strong, suspenseful plot laden with twists and turns, mysteries and secrets and of course the requisite evil villain of the piece, set in a world where daughters are commodities to be used as their father’s see fit. Dominant Nico Morelli was perfectly described as a wolf in an Armani suit and young widow Bianca was the lamb he needed to fulfil his thirst for revenge. There was some seriously steamy chemistry and sexual tension between this couple but Bianca wasn’t about to be anyone’s victim, she resisted and fought him at every turn just waiting for a chance to escape. Throw in an intriguing cast of secondary characters and for me, Nico had everything a fabulous mafia romance should have.
With great dual narration provided by PJ Morgan and Xander Marceaux there was a smooth flow to this audiobook. Both artists delivered strong performances, Xander providing an edge of menace to his voicing of Nico while PJ’s portrayal of Bianca suited her to a T – strong but still getting across that hint of vulnerability and weariness at the hand life had dealt her.
