Summary

A beard-related dare and one hot-as-hell kiss change everything.

NFL center Ethan Dexter's focus has always been on playing football and little else. Except when it comes to one particular woman. The lovely Fiona Mackenzie might not care about his fame, but she's also never looked at him as anything more than one of her brother-in-law's best friends. That ends now.

Fi doesn't know what to make of Dex. The bearded, tattooed, mountain of man-muscle looks more like a biker than a football player. Rumor has it he's a virgin, but she finds that hard to believe. Because from the moment he decides to turn his quiet intensity on her, she's left weak at the knees and aching to see his famous control fully unleashed. Fi ought to guard her heart and walk away; they live vastly different lives in separate cities. And Dex is looking for a forever girl. But Dex has upped his game and is using all his considerable charm to convince Fi he's her forever man.

Game on.

Saucy!

I enjoyed this story that included plenty of knee-trembling sauciness, but I'm afraid my enjoyment was partially ruined by the disappointing narration of Grace Grant. Perhaps this genre doesn't suit her... In my opinion, she doesn't have an engaging way of narrating. There's no real sparkle in her voice and I can hear her 'reading'. Teddy Hamilton was excellent, as usual.

cute

I adored the first two books in this series, and I really enjoyed Ethan's and Fi's story!

Ethan, or Dex, which ever name you choose to call him by was unexpected, and quite possibly my favourite MMC of the serise.

The relationship between Dex and Fi was adorable and I loved their dynamic.

I did struggle with the nick names in this one. Not sure what it was but everytime Dex called Fi 'Cherry' I cringed.

Teddy Hamilton did a brilliant job of narrating Dex, but I did struggle with Grace Grants male narration, it was a little off putting.

I also feel that the author missed a trick by not having more scenes with Fin (MMC of the final book)

I will probably listen to the last one in the serise but I don't feel as compelled as I did with books 2 and 3
