Summary
Embrace the gift of your intense emotions and the opportunities that will follow.
This is an audiobook about being successful, fulfilled and happy in a world in which you don't always feel you fit in. Many people are emotionally sensitive and intense, and while these characteristics need not limit us, they often hold us back from expressing ourselves, being heard and taking charge of our life, love and work. This audiobook is a complete guide that shows sensitive and intense people how to navigate, successfully and predictably, the fundamental relationships that make up their lives - demonstrating along the way that intense feelings are a gift not a curse.
Grounded in the author's extensive clinical and personal experience, the audiobook advises listeners on challenges such as low self-esteem, family conflicts, loneliness, complex work challenges and times of emotional crisis. Listeners are given actionable steps to change their lives.

Overall a really good book
I really enjoyed the book and found the exercises (especially writing my own eulogy) really thought provoking and powerful. The only thing I didn't like is the author say "you are or you will" a lot and that got a bit annoying as I felt that there was some assumption there that all intense feelers experience things the same. Apart from that, I took a lot from the book and could relate to the majority of it.
