Can be a bit scientific, but overall a good listen
Jason has some great observations about our eating habits and how they get bad. Ultimately he recommends fasting, having tried it I have to say he is correct - but trust what your body tells you.

Why has it taken so long for the truth to come out
This book should be mandatory reading for the school curriculum so that we grow up knowing this stuff rather than being brain washed with all the wrong information and forming all the wrong habits.This is a game changer.

Great book could be better
Main points done well, side points he wants to make could have been more thorough. That's just me though. The book would have gone on too long if he went to far into detail about the extra points.

Nutrition advice that works
Since listening to this book and incorporating its advice I have lost over a stone with a steady weekly loss and no plateau. I am way too lazy to read diet books and to calorie count but it’s easy to take basic rules from this book (like fasting twice a week and giving up refined sugars (mostly!)) and then eat pretty normally the rest of the time. I found the book really interesting and the science makes a lot of sense. So much so that it motivated me to make a lot of changes to how I eat. Highly recommended listen.

Everything in the book makes complete sense and it opened up my mind to a different way to tackle my weight. I hope I can use what they have described in order to help me lose weight and maintain the loss. Would recommend!

The key we have been looking for
I came across the control of insulins for weight loss on a body building web site a few years ago and lost a stone easily and also my blood pressure improved, but i forgot about it.
This book gives the science behind the relationship between insulin and weight, reasonably explains why other diets don't work long term (which matches my experience). It is amazing what harm "healthy diets" have caused over the past decades.
It all sounds sensible, doable, without making you feel guilty for having a day off. He even makes intermittent fasting sound easy. There are also lots of things you can eat that other diets ban.
I am certainly going to give it a go.

Quite a lot to take in, so a hard copy might be wise but the theory is useful and it is easy to agree with the guidence. It does allow better understanding of how we gain and lose weight. Insightful.
