Wow and wow!!! Haywood is incredible!!! By far the best author I have ever read/listened to and James Jameson the narrator! Grief he should have an award or 5 for his expertise!!

These stories just get better and better. When you start thinking that it's gonna get samey, RR Haywood adds a new twist to keep you hooked. The narration is flawless and the voices brilliant for each character. Cannot rate these enough. Only criticism is that he can't write them quick enough

My favourite of the series so far.
Laugh out loud jokes and gripping stories.
The best thing is that a lot of tension from the various running plots is released as they are played out with clever “believable” details.

The first part of the book felt like a protracted whinge about the state of the world currently (i.e. before the outbreak) interspersed with a lot of bickering between the characters. I nearly stopped at that point, I can get all of that directly from my 57 year old brother.

The second part helped make some sense of it and sets the scene for a new direction for the series. It acknowledges, and kinda makes a feature of, the character similarities between the groups which, again, sets us up for new paths.

You don't just listen, you're pulled in to the story. It's like your there and you feel the emotions of every character. Haywood gets better and better.

This is the best end of the world saga ever!
I love ever-single-page of the whole series and this instalment was outstanding.

How RR Haywood manages to consistently write such gripping and entertaining books I simply don’t know, He is an exceptionally talented writer and really knows how people tick.

The narrator also is just amazingly talented, what a great combination with these books- books that are already so good in their own right and then the cherry-topped-bobby-bonus of amazing narration.
