not as good as book 1
disappointed in this one. doesnt have the same tempo as the first. narrators are awful, felt like I was listening to Puss in Boots. couldnt take it seriously.

brilliant audio
honestly the audio alone could sell these books! the performances of each narrator has been excellent so far, they have really brought a cracking story to life. both feature a strong heroine who have or are going through challenging situations most would crumble under and a possessive alpha male who will do whatever it takes to keep them safe. there's angst, spice, romance and a story to go with it, what's not to love. thoroughly enjoyable listen.

This one was not good
She was showing her age in a painful way hahaha. I think the intention was to us support the age gap and the fact that they were from different backgrounds, and personally I didn’t mind any of that. For me all I could she is that she was a little girl trying to be “big”. So I never, not even once, I said “oh yeah she’s awesome”. Whining and crying about the most silly things that you could imagine. They had no chemistry whatsoever, everything was so forced. Ugh no love between them. The only thing I could save is Giorgio, he was an amazing character, he was suffering internally and it made me happy to see him grow and be able to leave his own struggles and his past behind.
