Avoid
This was probably one of the worst books on Greek mythology I’ve ever heard. There’s a whooshing sound at the start of some of the chapters and the whole thing feels like it’s some student reading notes. Complete rubbish

Disliked
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
DNF at 30%.
I really didn't enjoy this book. There were mistakes and the author repeated information throughout the chapters. I also was not a fan of the narrator, Madison Niederhauser, who felt quite flat to me.

Incredibly dull treatment of interesting subject
Keeping in mind that I have a degree in religious history: stay clear. I find the subject matter very interesting, but the writing and narration here is simply dull, which is impressive in a way, given the myths in question.
It might serve as a lexicon for the myths, but that’s missing a lot of the point in listening to them.
I recommend Stephen Fry’s version if you want an entertaining and comprehensive treatment.
