Summary

What would you do if you came face-to-face with your celebrity crush?

Rocky Steele is surrounded by professional athletes.

It’s her job. As a physical therapist in a world renowned gym, she works with the best of the best, from hockey players to MMA fighters. Celebrity status does not impress her. Nor do big, strong men in peak physical condition. Nope. When it comes to her job, she’s 100 percent professional.

Enter Gage James. Her celebrity crush. And the newest fighter to train in her gym. Where it will be her job to put her hands on every inch of the six foot seven, 260 pounds of utter Alpha male perfection. She’s got this.... Maybe. Gage "The Kraken" James is the reigning MMA Heavyweight Champion.

When he walks into The Steele Maker for the first time, it’s like he’s hit with a one-two punch to the chest in the form of a certain raven haired firecracker. His coach’s daughter. His physical therapist. His every waking thought.

He’s in for the fight of his life. The stakes are higher...outside the octagon.

Time to release The Kraken.

Game on.

Great story! 🥰

Gage and Rocky for the win! Their chemistry is oozing of the pages, or in my case: out of my headphones!

Funny, witty, entertaining, hot, steamy, romantic…. this story was everything and I loved it!
It’s about MMA fighting, a strong heroine and very hot hero, a close group of friends, other hot guys… need I say more?

Eric Umstott and Zara Knight are bot great narrators!

4.5 from me

This was my first "fighter" romance, and my first time with the author as well. She did a great job with character development, and the narrators brought them to life perfectly. I felt like they were actually real people.

I liked that there wasn't a whole lot of drama in the storyline to keep Rocky and Gage apart. Obviously there are a few bumps along the way, but it was nice to not be gritting my teeth and being anxious until the end.

I am not sure if fighter romances are my thing, but if they are yours this will be a 5/5 for you.

I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review.

I did enjoy listening to the dual narration of Zara Knight and Eric Umstott.

This is a story of a hot MMA fighter and a sassy female heroine.
Gage and Rocky are made for each other. Both are both professional in their jobs. You'll definitely get hooked. It's a great listen. I recommend .

Book 2 Standalone

I enjoyed this story. I loved all the characters and their dynamics. It wasn’t written how I expected. I felt like some things happened without a lot of build up and there was some things that I thought would be foreshadowing that wasn’t. Narration was great. Eric Umstott has a very growly voice and used it when I didn’t expect it. I recommend this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession
