The Whole Body Restart for Healthy Aging Diet Plan, by Page West, is a must-read if you’re wanting to jumpstart your diet routine. By jumpstart, the author is talking about resetting your metabolism, which in turn makes sure your body burns more calories and also helps you not to have cravings all the time. In particular, I really liked the chapter that dealt with mindfulness, which is really just a state where you wrap your mind around the fact that you are not hungry, which in reality, actually works quite well.
The author has certainly done her work in researching the science behind metabolism and how it is reset. West includes a plethora of recipes and even a detailed 14-day diet plan. I have thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook and highly recommend you try it.
